Hello Vivien and Lars!

It's great to hear from you all the way across the ocean!

My husband and I run our Exiles game here in Ohio. It is a small game set around 1850 in the west. However, Exiles has a lot of fantasy, horror and steampunk elements - so it is not a historical recreation of the time period. The world setting changes certain things about history, technology and even geography!

We do try to have people dress and act appropriately to the time period, though. And we draw a lot of our story ideas from real events in the west. For instance, one year we had a long story about barbed wire and its effect on ranching, which was a historical issue.

We looked at your website and saw that your group has some amazing costuming! They all look great. Because we do so much combat, our costumes aren't nearly as nice :)
